ecto sounds nice, but it's not for me

I wish ecto worked on Windows. I keep trying different blogging clients for my nilsnet.com blog, and none work. This may actually be because, as a geeky person, I decided to host my own blog software on nilsnet.com - Serendipity - and I suspect its xml-rpc interface is not quite correct. So the real solution is not to bemoan ecto, but to use different blog software. That's harder, though.
